Mary Knuckles,
Tex is the first book in a new series by Liz Isaacson about the Young brothers that were famous in country music as the group Country Quad。 Tex, the oldest and frontman of the group had decided to move back to Coral Canyon where he grew up。 He had brought his 17 year old son Bryce with him。 When he went by the ranch he grew up on he seen it was to be auctioned by the bank the next day as a cash only sale。 It had ran down and he could see them moving in and fixing it up。 The brothers had been tou Tex is the first book in a new series by Liz Isaacson about the Young brothers that were famous in country music as the group Country Quad。 Tex, the oldest and frontman of the group had decided to move back to Coral Canyon where he grew up。 He had brought his 17 year old son Bryce with him。 When he went by the ranch he grew up on he seen it was to be auctioned by the bank the next day as a cash only sale。 It had ran down and he could see them moving in and fixing it up。 The brothers had been touring or in Nashville recording over the last several years and most of the boys were moving back to Coral Canyon where their parents lived。 When a women comes from next door fussing at Tex and Bryce to get off the property he recognizes her。 It was Abby his high school sweetheart。 She was living next door with her brother Wade and they were working their ranch。 At the auction it went crazy and a bidding war went on and Abby got the last bid in but did not have but about half the money。 She made a deal with Tex to each pay half and Tex would live on the ranch and fix it up。Tex knew he was still in love with Abby but hated how he left for college and left her behind as she was a year younger。 He stopped communicating with her and met a girl, married and had Bryce。 The marriage did not last due to the touring and living in Nashville recording。 His brothers were all about in the same boat as they had young children and had divorced。 Mav the manager had met a woman and was remarried and happy in Coral Canyon。 Tex wanted the same thing with Abby。 But when an argument over Tex building a barn and making it into a recording studio happens they break off their dating。 Tex, Bryce, and his brothers had to go to Nashville to try to talk the record studio big wigs into letting them do their album in Coral Canyon so all the brothers could stay home and make their album。 So while they are waiting on the studio to be built, they use Tex's home to work on their next album。When Bryce and Wade decide it is time for Abby to apologize to Tex and start dating again, they hope that it will mean a marriage where Bryce can get a mom that is more caring about him then his mother ever was。 But could Tex and Abby put aside their disagreements and decide to marry each other after their past history?I received a ARC copy to give an honest review。 。。。more

A new family to stress and worry over and old families to catch up on, what more could you want? Liz Isaacson keeps me coming back for more stories。 No matter how hard and fast she can write them, I find myself drumming my fingers waiting for the next one。 She has the ability to make her characters real。 They face the same problems we do, okay some have a bit more money, but the issues are the same。 I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the rest of this series。

Great story of overcoming insecurities to have a second chance at love。 Tex and Abby both grow and mature as they lean on the Lord for guidance to their HEA。。。it takes a lot of leaning, but God is good and always there。 Anxiously awaiting the next book in the series! Love Coral Canyon and all its connections!

JigsawGirl,
I enjoyed reading this book about Tex and Abby。 I really liked Bryce's character in the book。 It's not often that I see a teenager in a book who has a multitude of redeeming qualities。 It was a good book about family, love, loyalty, responsibility, compassion, and compromise。 Abby reminded me of that phrase "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb"。 I found her to be overbearing at the beginning of the book, but her character grew on me。 I also liked her brother Wade。 Tex and Abby seemed I enjoyed reading this book about Tex and Abby。 I really liked Bryce's character in the book。 It's not often that I see a teenager in a book who has a multitude of redeeming qualities。 It was a good book about family, love, loyalty, responsibility, compassion, and compromise。 Abby reminded me of that phrase "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb"。 I found her to be overbearing at the beginning of the book, but her character grew on me。 I also liked her brother Wade。 Tex and Abby seemed to have a sweet, gentle second hand romance。 There weren't that many hiccups and they managed to work through the ones they encountered。This book had one drawback for me。 That is why I rated it 4。5 instead of 5 stars。There were TOO many people in the book for me to keep up with while trying to read。 I literally had to write down who the people were and how they connected。 With there being 10 Young brothers, and the associated connections with spouses, girlfriends, potential girlfriends, ex's, children, and other family members and friends, I found it to be overwhelming。 Hopefully, by the time we get to the last Young brothers book, I will have the relationships firmly planted in my mind。 My list got wet, so I will have to start my relationship chart over again。 Lol!I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book。 。。。more

What a great start to a new series。 Tex and Abigail’s attraction is immediately rekindled when Tex returns to Coral Canyon with his son Bryce。 We get glimpses of all the Young family。 And with 9 total brothers, there’s going to be a lot more。 All the characters are amazing and really brought to life well both the adults and the children。 I loved reading this and can’t wait for the next one。I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review。

This is a great first book to what looks to be an incredible series from this author。 The storyline is gripping and enthralling as we see Tex and Abby get a second chance at a love long lost。 A rundown ranch, heartache, challenges, a few twists and turns and best of all family and love had me glued to the pages and has me waiting patiently and eagerly for the next book!
